The "CLIPPER" is a heavy duty powered
hang glider particularly suitable for conducting training:
Full dual controls, shock absorbers on the three wheels, low
stall speed.
The "CLIPPER" is also the right choice for giving
joy rides and operating on local flights with two people on
board.

The power plant we have chose is the world renowned Austrian made
ROTAX 503 UL-2V, one of the most reliable engines in microlight
aviation today: twin cylinder, double carburetor, forced air cooled,
reduction by gear box, dual electronic ignition (two plugs per cylinder),
developing 52 HP. Another choice is the Hirth 2706 developing 65 HP, of similar
configuration.
The structure of the trike is basically the same as the VOYAGER's
but with a small fuel tank. Standard features are: front wheel brake,
suspensions on three wheels, two separate fiber glass pholstered
seats, electirc back up fuel pump, hand rewind starter, tachometer,
trike and prop covers are included.
The wing behaves well at low speed and is forgiving for students, the
handling is light, responsive and straight forward, the performance is
good: there is no reason that students learn to fly on out-dated
machines !
