INTRODUCTION
Our latest improvisation on the proven X-AIR theme, the X-AIR "H" HANUMAN is a conventional control Aircraft, which, as well as its ancestors, fits into to the category defined by the Director General Of Civil Aviation (DGCA) as MICROLIGHT AIRCRAFT.
The X-Air "H", distributed in the UK under the model name of X-AIR HAWK, has earned the British SECTION "S" CERTIFICATION.
Last but not least, distributed in the USA under the model name of X-AIR LS XA85, the "H" has obtained the prestigious LSA (LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT) CERTIFICATION.
THE X-AIR "H" HANUMAN AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION
The X-Air 'H' HANUMAN is an evolution of the X-AIR 'F' Gumnam, in view of fulfilling the wish of some customers desirous of owning a microlight with a "conventional aircraft look". To achieve this the following modifications have been introduced:
1) the standard engine used is the renowned JABIRU 2200 4-stroke. On special request we also offer ROTAX 582 and 912 installations.
2) the engine has been relocated in a conventional low position and is enclosed in a composite cowling.
3) the fuselage has been streamlined, and the cockpit volume, comfort and accessibility have been considerably improved.
4) the overall aircraft performance is the best in our range, particularly in terms of speed and fuel economy.
As of today, 300 HANUMAN have been exported, and a significant number has been supplied to the Indian Armed Forces (MHOW, IMA, GAYA).
